Construction of newsidewalks is proposed onboth sides of Paper MillRoad beginning near theintersection of Ezzard Streetand ending at the intersec-tion of Paper Mill Road andSpringlake Road. Existingsidewalks located in the pro-ject area will remainunchanged. The total lengthof new sidewalks is approxi-mately 2525 linear feet.

No changes to roadwaylanes are anticipated; howev-er, curb and gutter will beinstalled in areas of sidewalkimprovement where curband gutter do not currentlyexist. Crosswalks will beadded to existing localstreets. New sidewalks with-in the project are to be 5 ft inwidth and will transition toexisting sidewalks. No newlighting or bridges are pro-posed. Benches, landscap-ing, and drainage structuresmay be implemented. Speedlimits are 35 mph alongPaper Mill Road andSpringlake Road. The projectwill conform to the provi-sions of the Americans withDisabilities Act (ADA).Approximately 10 parcels ofland will require an ease-ment or right-of-way acqui-sition.
