• Education is an essential building block for innovation - providing skills and enabling entrepreneurship
• EU programmes support innovative young people, researchers and teachers
• Erasmus+, the EIT, and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions provide life-changing opportunities and partnerships
• They increasingly focus on supporting innovation
• Other EU innovation initiatives – such as EFSI – are available and should be used by the education sector

Enabling Early Stage Researchers is key in
Sustainable European Research. Mentoring young
engineers and scientists is a vital step in career
development. Specific gender based supports can
retain excellence in science and engineering.

Problems which I had:
Bad communication, many different levels of communication in EU countries. Ex: European Social Innovation Competition.
Absence of the “European Entrepreneur” figure. Ex: Polish Konkordia, Spanish Innovator
Absence of framework law for social entrepreneurs and social innovators. Ex: Huge differences between UK and Spain or Poland
Solutions which I propose:
Create an European alliance for EU promotion. A lot of people around the EU don’t know what’s going on in Brussels and why EU is still a key idea for our development and safety. We should take our innovations and influence to the streets and show around Europe why EU is still our great solution.
Create the European Innovator framework law, common for all EU members
Support and promote partnerships around Europe as an element of improve and promote social innovations

Where are the European „High Tech Unicorns“?
Funding is difficult for high tech startups, even with very
high market potential (Average of $140m needed*)
The EU funding landscape for startups is a “Jungle”
