Poštovane kolegice i kolege,
Radna skupina za invazivnu i intervencijsku kardiologiju Hrvatskoga kardiološkog društva
organizira 7. nacionalni kongres intervencijske kardiologije s međunarodnim sudjelovanjem
- CROINTERVENT 2016. koji će se održati od 10.-12. ožujka, 2016. godine u Zagrebu. Isto-
suglasje. U programu kongresa bit će zastupljena pozvana predavanja, oralne i moderirane
poster prezentacije, panel diskusije i satelitski simpoziji.
s analizom i komentarima. Srdačno Vas pozivam da svojim prisustvom i aktivnim sudjelova-
njem doprinesete uspjehu našeg nacionalnog kongresa.
Za organizacijski odbor:
Doc. dr. sc. Eduard Margetić
Predsjednik Radne skupine
za invazivnu i intervencijsku kardiologiju
Hrvatskoga kardiološkog društva

Dear Colleagues,
The working group for Invasive and Interventional Cardiology of the Croatian Cardiac Soci-
ety is organizing the 7th National Congress of interventional cardiology with international
participation - CROINTERVENT 2016, which will be held from 10.-12. March 2016 in Zagreb.
At the same time the 6th Meeting of the Working Group for Invasive and Interventional Car-
diology of the Croatian Cardiac Nurses will be held. CROINTERVENT 2016 is designed not
only for cardiologists and cardiology fellows, but also for doctors of other specialties and
people who are professionally associated with this dynamic and propulsive segment of mod-
ern medicine. The aim of the Congress is, besides the display of modern clinical practice in
interventional cardiology, to discuss concerns and problems that we encounter in our daily
practice, especially ones still without consensus among the interventional cardiologists. The
congress program will consist of invited lectures, oral and moderated poster presentations,
panel discussions and satellite symposia. As before, a significant part of the congress will be
given to the practical aspects of interventional cardiology, both through transmitted “live
cases” and presentation of already performed interventions with analysis and comments. I
cordially invite you to attend CROINTERVENT 2016 and contribute to the success of our Na-
tional Congress.

Dobro došli u Zagreb, glavni grad Republike Hrvatske!
jadranske obale i srednje Europe. Zagreb je i poslovno središte, sveučilišni centar, grad kul-
ture, umjetnosti i zabave. Iz Zagreba potječu i u njemu djeluju mnogi glasoviti znanstvenici,
umjetnici i sportaši. Svojim gostima Zagreb nudi barokni ugođaj Gornjega grada, slikovite
tržnice na otvorenom, raznovrsne trgovine i bogat izbor obrtničkih proizvoda, ukusnu do-
maću kuhinju. Zagreb je grad zelenih parkova i šetališta, s brojnim izletištima u prekrasnoj
okolici. Unatoč brzom razvoju gospodarstva i

Welcome to Zagreb, the capital city of the Republic of Croatia!
Zagreb is an old Central European city. For centuries it has been a focal point of culture and
science, and now of commerce and industry as well. It lies on the intersection of important
routes between the Adriatic coast, Central and East Europe. Zagreb is also the hub of the
business, academic, cultural, artistic and sporting worlds in Croatia. Many famed scientists,
artists and athletes come from the city, or work in it. Zagreb can offer its visitors the Baroque
atmosphere of the Upper Town, picturesque open-air markets, diverse shopping facilities, an
abundant selection of crafts and a choice vernacular cuisine. Zagreb is a city of green parks
and walks, with many places to visit in the beautiful surroundings. The city has entered into
the third millennium with a population of one million. In spite of the rapid development of
the economy and transportation, it has retained its charm, and a relaxed feeling that makes
it a genuinely human city.
