Grace Brezina (J-Crew)isarisingjuniorstudyingjournalismstrategiccommunicationwithasalescertificate.Shejoinsusasanout-of-statestudentfromGurnee,Illinois.DuringhertimeatOhioUniversity,GracehasbeeninvolvedwithBobcathon,andworksasatourguide.Sheisalsothe2019-2020DirectorofResearchandStrategyfor1804Communication.Thissummer,GraceisworkingasaBobcatStudentOrientationleaderandstudiedabroadlastsummerinFlorence,Italy.ThisisherfirstyearasamemberoftheJ-Crew.

Bill Clackisa1995alumofScripps(BSJ,Broadcasting)andtheTheaterschool(BFA,Directing/Acting.)HealsohasaMastersfromChathamUniversity(MFA,FilmandDigitalArts).PresentlyPittsburghbased,BillistheMedia/WebservicescoordinatoratthePine-RichlandSchoolDistrictandanadjunctprofessoratRobertMorrisUniversity.Heteachesfilmandbroadcasttostudentsrangingfrom4thgradersthroughcollegeseniors.Foradecadeandahalfprior,heworkedinTVnewsasananchorandreporter;breakingintoaTop-20marketfouryearsafterleavingAthens.Interviewingfolksfromlocalschoolboardmemberstopresidential

candidatesoccupiedmostofhisnewscareer.Howeverreporting30+hoursstraight,frominsideacategory2hurricane,wasapersonalhighlight.Billisanadmittedsuper-herogeek.HeandhistwochildrenroutinelycatchthelatestMarvelmovieonopeningnight.

Bryan Kurp (J-Crew)willbeasophomorethisfallstudyingjournal-ismnewsandinformation.BryanisheavilyinvolvedinthesportsdepartmentatWOUB,theon-campusTVstationinAthens.HecoverstheOhioUniversityvolleyball,women’sbasketball,andbaseballteamsforWOUB’sBobcatSportsShowcaseandreportsforGridironGlory,ahighschoolfootballshow,andHardwoodHeroes,ahighschoolbasketballshow.Additionally,BryanisasportsanchorforNewsWatch,thenightlynewscastatWOUB.HegraduatedfromPine-RichlandHighSchool(Gibsonia,PA)andgainedalotofbroadcastingexperienceatthehighschool’sTV

station,PRTV.Bryanattendedtheworkshopasastudentin2017and2018andenjoyednetworkingwithotherstudentsandprofessionals.HeisexcitedtobeamemberoftheJ-Crewforthefirsttimethisyear!

Josh JamersonisanationalpoliticsreporteratTheWallStreetJournal.HislastassignmentatWSJwasonCapitolHill,coveringthehallsofCongressandthebattleforcontrolofitduringthe2018midtermelection.HecoveredcorporatenewsfromNewYorkbeforemovingtoWashingtonin2017.Previously,JoshwasaJamesRestonReportingFellowatTheNewYorkTimes.HisbylinehasalsoappearedinTheColumbusDispatch,theDetroitFreePressandTIME.AtOhioUniversity,hewaslocaleditorandlatersenioreditoratThePost.HegraduatedfromOhioUniversityin2015(BSJ).

Tom McKee spent40yearscoveringtheTri-StateofCincinattiatthenewsstation,WCPO.Anaward-winningseniornewsreporter,Tombecamethemostrespected“manonthestreet”atthesta-tion.He’sservedasamentortocountlessyoungreporters.AnOhioUniversitygrad,hiscareerbeganatage22andhebecameamainstayofWCPO’spoliticscoverage,winningoneofthreenationalWalterCronkiteAwardsin2013.At29,Tomwasthrustintoadramatic,life-or-deathnewsstorywhenagunmantookhimandeightotherstationemployeeshostageinthenewsroom.Thegunmaneventuallyreleasedthehostagesbeforeendinghisown
