Randalls Island ConnectorAfter years of delays, the Randalls Island Connector, which crosses over a narrow waterway known as the Bronx Kill, is finally a reality for Bronx residents who have long felt cut off from Randalls Island, one of the city’s main recreation hubs. This gives Bronx residents access to all the amenities that Randalls Island has to offer including a track-and-field stadium, baseball and soccer fields, and tennis courts.
Fresh DirectAfter spending ten exciting and fruitful years in Queens, FreshDirect has worked through a public-private partnership with New York to build a new state-of-the-art facility in the Bronx. The new location in the Harlem River Yards will be home to their new, 500,000 square foot facility. It is located in a heavily industrial area next to an active rail line and in between Federal Express and Waste Management facilities. The site also offers easy access to Bruckner Expressway, allowing their trucks to bypass the nearby residential neighborhoods. In addition to helping grow the local Bronx economy, relocating their headquarters will provide additional capacity that will allow them to conveniently provide a greater selection of high-quality, fresh food to New Yorkers.
New York Expo CenterThe New York Expo Center boasts an amazing 10-acre venue space located directly on the East River Waterfront. Featuring 90,000 square feet of interior space with a 45,000 square foot main event space, the New York Expo Center is a perfect place to host any large scale event, festival or concert. The prominent smoke stack on site can be seen from across the East River and from the Bruckner Expressway, offering unique branding and promoting opportunities as well as an easily recognizable landmark for your guests. Perfect for festivals with its dual indoor/outdoor staging options, huge waterfront lawn as well as an interior space that’s longer than a football field, this property is also fully bordered and contains two entrances/exits with security booths.

T Gun Hill TavernGun Hill Tavern opened in November 2016 and is conveniently located near the Willis Avenue Bridge, the RFK Bridge, and just three stops on the #6 train from Manhattan. Gun Hill Tavern is now the second location under the Gun Hill umbrella, joining Gun Hill Brewing Company at 3227 Laconia Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx. It marks the first collaboration between the Gun Hill Brewing team and the Port Morris Distillery team.
Port Morris DistilleryAfter previously owning a business in the Port Morris section of the South Bronx and owning real estate in the area, the two families decided in 2010 this area to be the perfect location for the distillery. Conveniently located near the First Avenue Bridge (Willis Ave Bridge), the Triboro Bridge (RFK Bridge) and three stops on the # 6 train from Manhattan, making visits for tours and tastings by patrons and interested parties easy.
Bronx BreweryThe Bronx Brewery is a small, craft brewery in the Port Morris section of the South Bronx. It was launched in 2011 by a small team with two things in common: a maniacal focus on creating high-quality beer and a passion for the Bronx and New York City. Its traditionally-crafted pales ales use only premium and minimally-processed materials to create fresh, bold beer from a borough known for its own uniquely bold character. The team is enthused to bring a rich brewing tradition back to the Bronx and craft a beer that the people of the Bronx and New York City can be proud to call their own.
2401 Third Ave & 101 Lincoln AveDevelopers have started construction on a massive residential and retail complex in the South Bronx that will feature amenities including a pet care room, a pool and a cafe. The market-rate project, spearheaded by The Chetrit Group and Somerset Partners, will consist of two buildings along the South Bronx waterfront at 2401 Third Avenue and 101 Lincoln Avenue, right by the Third Avenue Bridge. Both sites are still years away from completion, with developers hoping to finish the Third Avenue site by June 2019 and the Lincoln Avenue site by December 2019.
