GENERAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES

GENERAL NOTES

1. GENERAL NOTES AND TYPICAL STRUCTURAL DETAILS SHALL BE APPLIED TO ALL DRAWINGS

UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN OR NOTED.

2. FOR SIMILAR CONDITIONS MODIFY TYPICAL DETAILS AS REQUIRED TO MEET SPECIAL

CONDITIONS.

3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXAMINE THE DRAWING AND SHALL NOTIFY THE

ENGINEER/ARCHITECTS OF ANY DESCRIPANCIES HE MAY FIND BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH

THE WORK OR DURING THE CONSTRUCTION.

4. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SHORING AND

BRACING OF THE STRUCTURE FOR ALL LOADS THAT MAY BE IMPOSED DURING THE

CONSTRUCTION.

5. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS SHALL NOT BE STORED ON PURED FLOORS OR ROOF. IT IS THE

CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THIS REQUIREMENT IS MET.

6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ALL STEPS NECESSARY TO ENSURE PROPER ALIGNMENT OF

THE STRUCTURE AFTER INSTALLATION OF ALL STRUCTURAL AND FINISH MATERIALS.

7. ALL MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP SHALL CONFORM WITH THE LATEST APPLICABLE

STANDARDS OR SPECIFICATIONS ALL WORKS SHALL CONFORM WITH BEST PRACTICE

PREVAILING IN THE VARIOUS TRADES.

8. INSPECTION - ALL WORKMANSHIP AND CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION

EXAMINATION AND TESTING BY THE ENGINEER/ARCHITECT. THE ENGINEER/ARCHITECT SHALL

HAVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT DEFECTIVE MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP OR REQUIRE ITS

CORRECTION.

9.UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DETAILED ELSEWHERE SHALL FOLLOW TYPICAL DETAILS AS SHOWN

IN THIS DRAWINGS.

10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COORDINATION OF WORK AIMING THE

VARIOUS TRADES AS NECESSARY TO AVOID CONFLICTS AND TO INSURE THE INSTALLATION OF

ALL WORKS WITHIN THE AVAILABLE SPACE.

GENERAL NOTES & SPECIFICATION

ALL WORKS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE PROVISION OF THE LATEST EDITION OF

THEPHILIPPINE ELECTRICAL CODE WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE NATIONAL

AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES CONCERNED WITH ENFORCEMENT OF THE ELECTRICAL LAWS AND

ORDINANCES AND THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF UTILITY COMPANIES CONCERNED.

1. SERVICE TO THE BUILDING SHALL BE 230V SINGLE PHASE 2-WIRE.

2. SERVICE ENTRANCE SHALL BE INTERMEDIATE METAL CONDUIT.

3. SMALLEST BRANCH CIRCUIT WIRE SHALL BE 3.5MM THHN AMD THE SMALLEST

RACEWAY SHALL BE 15MM TRADE SIZE UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED WIRES SHALL BE

INSULATED FOR 600V.

4. ALL MATERIALS TO BE USE SHALL BE NEW AND APPROVED TYPE FOR LOCATION AND

PURPOSED.

5. NO BRANCH CIRCUIT SHALL HAVE A LOAD OF MORE THAN 80% RATINGS.

6. MOUNTING HEIGHT SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:

A. LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH - 1.40M ABOVE F.F.L. @ CENTER.

B. DUPLEX CONVENIENCE OUTLET - 0.30M ABOVE F.F.L. @ CENTER
