boutique also offers body-shapers, negligees, sports-bras, maternity

bras and mastectomy bras in both standard and larger sizes. In

addition to its gorgeous collection of lingerie, Strutt Boutique is also an

Anita Breastcare centre of excellence – where owner dr. ndileka holds

consultations with clients undergoing breast surgery for breast cancer,

where required, fitting them with an appropriate post mastectomy

prosthesis and bra. A portion of these costs can be claimed back

from Medical Aids which have a cancer benefit. The boutique opened

its doors in September 2012 in parkhurst, but has recently moved to

the exclusive Michelangelo Towers Mall, in Sandton. “It’s really about

giving women the options they deserve, making them feel as beautiful

as they truly are, and allowing them to celebrate their curves” explains

dr. ndileka. “If a client walks out of Strutt feeling like a goddess, then

my work is done. And for me, personally, I found that Strutt offered

an ideal solution – I could continue with my interest in healing, while

providing a very underserviced demographic with a product that they

need.”
