71 st Independence Day Celebration B.V.B. Vidyashram, K.M. Munshi Marg, Jaipur celebrated 71 st Independence Day with great pride on August 15, 2017. The celebration commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest Shri Rajeev Jain, Vice- Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Jaipur Kendra, Jaipur. The unfurling of the flag was followed by the March Past of the NCC Cadets, the four Houses and the School Band. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and motivated the students to be responsible citizens of the country and to contribute towards creating a peaceful and a powerful developed nation. There after a colourful patriotic programme was presented. The Tiny Toys of Balwadi presented a melodious and intriguing action song which filled the hearts of all with pride. The young patriots of Primary Section sang in glory of the nation and vocalized their love through the song ‘Koti Koti Kantoh Se Gunje Maa……’ It was followed by the patriotic song sung by the choir of Senior Section. The upcoming stars of Primary Section performed on the song ‘Hindustan Meri Jaan……’ which further submerged the gathering in patriotism. Speech in English was delivered by Akshita Pareek. She voiced her views on the significance of the day whereas Hindi Speech delivered by Kartik Jain awakened everyone’s feeling and responsibility towards the nation. The programme concluded with the National Anthem. Packets of sweets were distributed.
