Classroom Management
Each child has a clip on the Clip Chart
Every child begins their day on green.
Throughout the course of the day all students will have opportunities to move up on the clip chart.
Every time a warning is given they will move down.
You will know what kind of day your child had at school by checking the calendar in their daily folder.
Positive Behavior Reinforcement
I believe in positive reinforcement to guide students in learning.
I always look for the positive in behavior management.
I believe in having clear expectations for the students.
We use the Scoreboard from Whole Brain Teaching.
We use a bucket for “bucket filling.”
On completion of filling our bucket we will have a whole groups reward (pajama party, extra recess, popsicles etc)
Daily Folders
Folders are sent home every day! Please empty the folder and return to school.
On Mondays you will find extra important information from the district, school, PTO and ME!
Kindergarten Homework
Your child will have a homework sheet that will come home on Mondays.
The homework will be due back to school the following Monday.
There will be a short activity each day that will include math, phonics, vocabulary, writing and reading.
