a Check the condition of the cables.

a Show a good cable and a cable in poor condition

a Check that the right-hand and left-hand runners arecorrectly synchronised using a ruler.

a Use the cable to synchronise the runners.


a Refit the short cable fully into the runner mechanism.

a Refit the front seat slide motor.

a Refit the long cable fully into the runner mechanism.

a Refit the rigid clip.

a Connect the connectors.


a Connect the battery. (see Battery: Removal - Refit-ting)

a Apply the after repair procedure using the diagnos-tic tool :


- select Driver's seat position storage and adjust-ment computer ,


- display the Before/After repair procedure forthe computer selected,
