From one veteran to another, we know that searching for a civilian job can be tricky. Luckily, we’ve hosted 560 job fairs specifically for military veterans in the past eight years, and we know what it takes to be successful at a job fair. We’ve distilled our experience into "7 Tips for Veterans to Get a Job Through a Career Fair." This 30-minute webinar (with a live Q&A at the end) isn’t a magic bullet by any stretch, but based off our experience with veteran job seekers, with companies who hire veterans, and with job fairs that bring the two together, we think you’ll find the tips and advice helpful as you prepare to attend a job fair, whether it’s your first time attending or whether you’ve attended many before without luck. Also, we’re asked a lot how many veterans find jobs at our events, and we’re proud to say that on average, as a result of each one of our job fairs, over 100 job offers are extended to veterans. Provide a brief background of your skills, your character qualities, and then apply that to the position you’re discussing.

Explain the technical details, your responsibilities, not just the role of your job within the military.
