section. So we should concentratemore in this area, and second areaof priority should be "Reasoning"because it is worth 60/200, and"General English”, “Quantitativeaptitude" of 30 marks each.
And we have to answer 200questions in 2 hr and 10 min. Sowe should have particular actionplan to crack it.

General awareness We should prepare following areasmore, as there is scope to getdirect questions from these areas
1. Banking history, i.e. RBI act1934, SBI act 1955,Scheduled banks etc.
2. Recent RBI committees andtheir heads, like Nachiket morcommittee etc, 4 or 5questions may come fromhere, even RBI governorsnames also important.

3. India Year book (focus shouldbe on 12 FYP and allocation offunds to diff. sectors), Socialsecurity schemes like IAY,MNREGA etc,13 or 15questions will come from thisarea, so be cautious with it.
4. Basic economic phenomenonthat are in connection withRBI, like Repo rate etc.
5. Economic terms ofinternational importance, likeQuantitative easing, subprimecrisis, monetized debt,participatory note etc.
6. Static Economic concepts suchas inflation, SupplyDemandissues, factors of productionand financial inclusion, fiscaland monitory policies, fiscalcliff and consolidation etc. areimportant.
7. Union budget and sector wiseallocation, Railway budget,committees appointed byunion govt., union cabinetministers and portfolios etc.
8. Economic survey and areasthat are being considered bythe Union govt. To be revivedin this 20415, such asInfrastructure development(Golden quadrilateral), bullettrains proposal, (potato, onion)new status etc.

4. Data interpretation (5/6M),Radar graph (5M), table (5M),in equalities (2/3M).
Suggestion: Prepare this sectionwith X class NCERT books andpractice more, even who can knowlittle math can score here more,provided s/he knows Datainterpretation well.
English Language: Those whowrote SBI PO exam earlier , simplyno need to prepare this section andmay spend more time with Generalawareness, because this is theeasiest of all in RBI Grade B exam.Almost questions can be answeredby reciting them in mind itself. Butone must be careful with jumbledsentences, antonyms andsynonyms, Passage (Toughest) willbe given, given below areprioritized areas.
1. Passage (Usually tough) (8/10M)
2. Jumbled sentences (5/8M)
3. Fill in the blanks with twooptions given (5M)
4. Antonyms and synonymsworth (5/6M)

5. Replacing phrases withsentences (5M), Spottingerrors (5M)
6. Finally Closet test (7/10M) soultimately ends.
Suggestion: Take one practicebook let for competitive English orGr8 ambitionz site is enough topractice.Note: For General awareness wecan’t expect the area wisequestions coming and their markscontribution, but based on previouspapers from 2004 I have compiledthese stats for Reasoning, English,Quantitative aptitude. These aremere implications and subjected tochange in the exam and manyextra concepts also may come, butone thing is sure that a personfamiliar with these topics withutmost accuracy will certainlyqualify in this first phase exam ofRBI Grade B officers.
TimemanagementNow Finally I want to conclude mypost with my view of Timemanagement in this exam. I thinkthis will definitely beneficial to us.
First start with English sectionand finish it within 20 min youcan attempt 23/30 questions.

Then General awareness within40 min we can attempt 60/80questions, this section is littlebit time consuming so in tworounds we can answer it. Infirst round we can answersome questions that just byseeing them we can answer.And in the second round weshould study some lengthyquestions and can answerthem .It is advised to answerfrom the bottom of this sectionas cunning RBI will placeeasiest questions at thebottom that nobody can seethem.
Now it’s time to doQuantitative aptitude, herealso in 20 min. Time we cananswer 23/30 questions. Thisis my mere calculation ifanybody can do 30/30 can dobut because of negativemarking we should be carefuland in general 90% people cananswer not more than 25 inthis short 20 min. Time.
Finally do reasoning andallocate 50 min for this and wecan easily answer 45/60questions here with 100%accuracy.
So finally we have answered 151questions out of 200 with best

Dear friend Online exam is allabout having goodconsciousness and luck besidesKnowledge and timemanagement. In this processyou can select one answer forthe question and then click on"Save and continue",then it willredirect to another question(oreven last question of one sectionto other section also).Here wehave advantages like no need to1)bubbling the circles 2)tuningthe pages of question bookletoften 3)skipping the questionswhich are not visible or at remoteareas of paper etc.....we canchoose the section we like byclicking the appropriate one andcan go to any of the 200questions with a single click. butsome limitations also there, hereluck plays important role like1)getting good monitor(LCD)2)should not touch the key boardas the exam software will corruptand stall at the middle ofexam(then nobody will rescueyou) 3)we can't see all questions

at one place in passage or Datainterpretation questions(but don'tget panic,as the passage/D.Igraph will come for each andevery question) 4)some easiestquestions will be deliberatelyplaced at the bottom so thatcandidate may be skip them insituations of running out of time5)Dagger on the neck is countdown,it will haunt you duringexam and its vengeance will beat its heights in last couple ofminutes. despite these limitationswe happily attempt exambecause "Clicking" the answerwill alleviate us fromconventional exam burdens.Finally i will suggest you twothings those are selection ofsection such as GA,English etc.is important before proceeding tothe very exam,as i said above inthe action plan you can follow,and i am sure that is the bestapproach.And coming to "Markas review",it is a gift from Bank'sside because it facilitates you totick the choice you want at thebeginning and let you make itavailable for "Mark as review",so that you can check thequestion later,even if you can'tvisit it later due to timeconstraint,your earlier answerwill be considered as final.I hopeyour queries have addressednow, feel free to ask this forumfor further clarifications andqueries.Thank you and all thebest.

No friend,there is no scope forTrigonometry to come in thisexam,in fact it(trigonometry)won't come in any Bank examsbut in SSCCGL. but in thisexam we can expect toughequations to be solved, andcumbersome squares andcubes(with roots also),so becareful with them.Radar graphmay be unwanted guest.Earlier(prior to 2010) RBI examwas so tough,and above Civilservices level with almost every
