One godparent must be Catholic, at least 16 years of age, registered in the parish where he lives, fully initiated (received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion), and Catholic in good standing (e.g., married in the Catholic Church, participating in Sunday Mass). He must obtain a letter of eligibility from his current parish. One practicing non-Catholic Christian may also be admitted as a Christian Witness. The next class is August 11 at 6 pm (Zoom). Please contact [email protected], at least one week before the class, for more information and to register. Sacrament of Marriage Couples planning to marry should contact the Parish Office six months prior to the wedding date. Wedding times are Saturday at either 10am, 11am or 1pm. St. Pius X Church has an immediate opening for a Communications & Social Media Specialist. This is a part-time (20 hours a week) position that reports to the Pastor and Business Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for creat-

ing and sending communications through various social media platforms, maintaining these platforms with the current parish events, the weekly bulletin and bulletin inserts, and maintaining the parish calendar. Some college work in a related field or equivalent education and experience is required. Proficiency with Google apps, Microsoft Office (Publisher, Excel, Word, Power Point), so-cial media tools, and experience in web publishing preferred. Inter-ested candidates should send a completed diocesan application(find it at https://www.piusxparish.org/),cover letter and resume to [email protected].

Everyone who comes to Mass, 10 years old and older, MUST wear a face mask.
