    VOLUNTEERS

AT THE CORE OF OUR WORK.

After all, it was volunteers who started Hosparus Health in 1978, and they continue to help improve the lives of our patients and families today.

Our Volunteer Visitors, Pet Companions, and Grief Support volunteers help us meet people where they are and honor their choices. Patient care volunteers receive extensive training so that they can offer support to you and your loved ones and may be available on a regular basis or for a one-time request.

In 2016, the total number of volunteers reached 594.... providing 53,283 hours of support to

    patients and their families.

The dollar equivalent of their generous gifts of time was $1,201,539.
