History Glimpse The work of furnishing St. Patr ick’s church did not end with the construction of the pews. There were any number of things yet to do to finish the interior woodwork for the nave of our church, and for other areas as well. There were the capitals to add to the pillars, the wood trim around doors and windows and for baseboards, the panels beneath the stained glass windows, the pedestals for the statues of Mary and Joseph, and the cabinets for the statues of the saints. There were new calls for more wood, and consequently more work. The carpenters are busy still. Many parishioners, in one way or another continue to con-tribute time, energy, and expertise as they labor to finish the social hall, choir loft, sacristy and bell tower.!!

First Friday is on April 06, 2018 The Holy Sacr ifice of the Mass is at 6:30 p.m. followed by the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, confession, and all night adoration. More than one person is encouraged to sign up per hour on the “Adoration” sheet that can be found on the table in the narthex.!!

First Saturday is on April 07, 2018 The rosary will be recited at 7:30 a.m. followed by Benediction, Litany/Consecration to our Blessed Mother and 8:00 a.m. Mass.!!

Jesus Christ is Risen! Alleluia! This one event

has completely revolutionized human history.

What was once hopeless is now hope filled.

What was once lost is now found. What was

once a matter for concern is now a reason to

rejoice. He is Risen! Each one of us is a part of

human history, so this one event has complete-

ly revolutionized our lives as well. Jesus not

only transformed death, He has transformed

life! We are an Easter people who live in the

fullness of the grace of the resurrected Lord.

Sin, death, evil have all been conquered! Do

we believe that? Do our lives manifest that

simple truth? I pray so!!

!

Frs. Salisbury, Bourek and I wish to extend to

you a most heartfelt “Happy Easter”. May the

joy and peace of this day endure throughout

your life. He is Risen! Alleluia!!

!

Have a great week!! ! Fr. Troy

Schweiger!
