WHO WERE THE BEATLES?The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960, and one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts in the history of popular music.The members of this musical group were:

BEATLEMANIA

When the Beatles first arrived in America on February 7, 1964, thousands of fans were waiting for them at New York’s Jhon F. Kennedy International Airport. Limousines took them to the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan; outside the hotel, thousands more people were singing Beatles songs. The Beatles were staying on the twelfth floor; teenage girls started to climb the fire scape to see them.

On February 9, when The Beatles appeared on American television, 73 million people were watching. The Beatles song “All My Loving,” I Saw Her Standing There,” and “I Want to Hold Your Hand”. They sang “She loves you” and America loved them, too.Soon Beatles fans were doing all the things that fans do: writing letters to their heroes, buying pictures of them, waiting for them, following them… and listening to their songs - all day avery day
