Our rating & descriptionThe beautiful villa was built at the end of XVII century by the Milanese

marquis Giorgio Clerici in a natural basin between lake and mountains,

facing the dolomite Grignas and the peninsula of Bellagio. The architect

created for the Clericis an important but sober building, with an Italian

garden decorated with sculptures, stairs, whaterfalls and fountains.

The romantic Villa is an artistic and botanical jewel. It stands on a hilltop

above three grand terraces linked by an imposing double stairway and

is surrounded by 70,000 square meters of lush botanical gardens. The

villa is a museum today with a collection of distinctive works of arts.

WeddingsYour wedding between art and nature!

Since 2009 wedding’s ceremonies (civil or blessing) have been hosted in

a beautiful bright room in the museum or at the wide terrace overlook-

ing on Bellagio and the lake.

Your wedding area will be separated for your exclusive use, but the pub-

lic will still have access to the gardens and the villa out of your area.

Civil, Symbolic and Non-Catholic wedding ceremonies are possible at

Villa Carlotta. They are performed on the magnificent Camellia’s Ter-

race. The terrace is surrounded by a majestic camellia hedge and offers

breathtaking views of Bellagio and the lake.

In case an indoor wedding is desired, the ceremony takes place in the

elegant Stucco Hall, which is decorated with splendid works of art.

Maximum capacity 120 guests.

The area reserved for the wedding ceremony will be of your exclusive

use.

After the ceremony, an aperitif with drinks and canapés can be served

on the Camellia’s Terrace or at Villa’s cafeteria.
