The new system

• New AFS and new Batch system are the elements that should form the basis of physics analysis starting until 2018

• Efficient use limited resources

• It should be useable for all user groups– CMS, CRESST, Belle, Theory– CMS Grid, Belle Gird

• Close interaction with users required that it does what they want
