5th PG Convention of the Society of Post graduate Dental
Education in Nepal (SOPDEN)
Society of Post graduate Dental Education in Nepal (SOPDEN) is proud to announce its 4th
PG convention being held on following date:
Venue: Venue: Indreni Foodland, Indreni Complex, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu
Date: 20th April 2013 (7th Baisakh 2069)
Time: 08:00 AM onwards
Submission Deadline for abstract – 30th Chaitra 2069
The Scientific Program Committee considers your presentation an important contribution to
the success of this conference and we thank you for your support.
Criteria for Presentations:
1. Post Graduate students are eligible to submit abstract with scientific presentation.
2. A registered delegate can participate in only one scientific presentation (either oral or
poster presentations).
3. More priority will be given to topic on multidisciplinary approach
Abstract Details: (0ral /Poster Presentations)
1. Please limit your abstract to 150 words, with font Times New Roman, Size: 12.
2. Abstract must be sent to the mentioned address of scientific committee.

Format for oral presentation:
1. Oral presentations are restricted to a Ten (10) minute time.
2. Power Point digital presentations will be projected on a single screen
Note: Time allotments are limited and papers will be selected based on scientific content,
submission date and available time. If more scientific paper is submitted then those papers
will get priority in upcoming PG convention after 6 month.
Poster Presentations:
1. Size of Poster: Poster sizes will be limited to 30 inches (76.2 cm) wide by 40 inches
(101.6 cm) tall.
2. Both Glossy and Matt finishes are accepted.
3. Print your Name, College Name and Department on the poster.
4. Each Poster will be allowed five (5) minutes for explanation & presentation to the
Poster Judging Panel.
5. Poster should be self-explanatory so that you are free to supplement and discuss any
points of inquiry. The poster session provides a more intimate forum for discussion
than an oral presentation.
Registration Fee: Rs.1000 /- only (Registration fee include certificate, breakfast, lunch and
tea.)
