The 5th evening Vocational Educational

High School of Patras was founded in 1995.

The building covers an area of 3,891 m2.

It houses three different vocational schools in 40 classrooms

There is a significantly sized workshop centre with 25 fully equipped workshops

There is a large amphitheatre for cultural activities and sizeable grounds for athletics

Our school is an evening school which is directly involved in providing the opportunity of life-long learning to its students.

Our students are mostly adults who

either abandoned school at an early age, and now return to complete their studies

or want to acquire qualifications so as to improve their chances in the work area.

Vocational schools in Greece integrate academic

education with providing general employability

skills for entry into employment, but also for entry

into further education and training.

The students receive both

a school leaving diploma, equivalent to that

received by a general education secondary school

a diploma certifying their qualifications in their

chosen field of study.

The school has been distinguished for its various

activities and its active participation in all kinds of

programmes, such as Cultural, Environmental and

European mobility projects.
