Mohawk/CDT has been manufacturing and testing fiber opticcable in accordance with several industry standards, includ-ing Telcordia GR-409-CORE, RUS 1753F-601, and TIA/EIA-568, since 1990. The cables are listed by UnderwritersLaboratories as being in compliance with the National Elec-trical Code and are verified to the TIA/EIA-568-B.3 standardby ETL.

AdvanceLite is fiber optic cable with Gigabitperformance...ready now, for Next Generation installations.

Cables are available with fiber counts ranging from 1 to 216in multimode, single-mode, or hybrid versions. They arecompatible with all major manufacturers’ connectivity hard-ware, including LID fusion splicers.

AdvanceLite features fiber optimized for laser-based protocols.Yet these cables are still compatible with LED systems. Theyprovide guaranteed link lengths to handle Gigabit Ethernet

transmission while maintaining full compatibility with existinginstalled FDDI-grade cable.

AdvanceLite cables are manufactured with Corning’s InfiniCor™optical fiber to provide the highest level of quality and consistentperformance for laser-based systems. AdvanceLite also comeswith third-party verified performance to TIA/EIA 568-B.3.

AdvanceLite 2000 provides for 300 meter cable length for10 Gigabit Ethernet backbone connection.

AdvanceLite 1000 provides for 1000 meter cable lengthusing the familiar 62.5/125 MM fiber size for Gigabit Ethernet.

AdvanceLite 600 provides for 600 meter cable length, whichexceeds ISO 11801 and IEEE 802.3/z requirements, for Gigabit Ethernet transmission.

AdvanceLite 300 provides for a 300 meter cable length forGigabit Ethernet as defined by TIA/EIA TSB-72. This architec-ture allows for collapsed backbones, if fiber is to be run to thedesk, or longer backbones for large LAN’s.
