WHICH ARE THE OBJECTIVES?

• They have two main objectives:

• 1-reduce maternal mortality by three quarters between 1990 and 2015.

• 2-to achieve universal access to reproductive health by 2015.

WERE THEY ACHIEVED?

• Although some improvements have been achieved, there are still a lot of matters to improve.

• An accelerated action is needed to achieve all the goals.

WHAT CAN BE DONE

• It is needed to pay more attention:

1. To improve the health care for women

2. Prevention of unwanted pregnancies

3. Unsafe abortions
