The King Philip DECA Chapter returned home victorious on Saturday March 9, from the 60th
annual Massachusetts DECA State Career Development Conference at the Mariott Copely and
Hynes Convention Center in Boston with 58 students qualifying for the International Career
Development Conference (ICDC) in Orlando, FL.
117 King Philip students joined over 3,000 students, advisors and business professionals
attending the conference where students compete in over 50 categories of marketing, hospitlity,
finance and entrpreneurship topics.

King Philip had 10 students in 1st place, 9 students in 2nd, 2 students in 3rd, 4 students in
4th and 4 students in 5th. All of these students will be moving on to the International
DECA Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL in April where they will compete
against over 200,000 members in all 50 states, four US territories, Canada, Mexico,
Germany, Korea and more.
Additionally, King Philip DECA earned 8 allocations for the prestigious Leadership
Development Academy at ICDC through chapter campaigns on the state and national
levels.
