Amherst. The cemetery is located 0.5 mile north of the mansion over rough trails and through pastures in

a grove of tall trees on a hilltop surrounded by pastures. The cemetery is neither maintained nor fenced.

There appears to be more than 50 gravesites, many marked by fieldstones. Only three readable headstones

could be found. This cemetery may be connected to the Eubank cemeteries at Round Top and the

Location: On US 29 Business, (North Main St), drive north to Boxwood Farm Rd (739) to the railroad

overpass, a distance of 2.3 miles from the circle. Just east of the railroad cut is a farm gate on the right

Hollow Loop (799). Turn left on Meadow Hollow Loop and go a short distance. Turn left on Meadow

Hollow Road (642) and go 1.3 miles to a farm gate on the left after crossing the bridge and passing

Mountain View Farm . Private entrance (Jr. Davis Farm) Go through the gate and follow the track up the

hill to the cemetery in a grove of trees. There are lots of bushes under which cows have made tunnels.

Three massive inscribed stones are found and some are buried. It is difficult to determine the size of this

cemetery because it is so overgrown.[One interesting fact is that the cemetery faces Gun Mountain, a site

where Confederate soldiers had a lookout ].Two field stones were found. Not fenced, not maintained.
