New Sermon Series: The Gospel of John
We tell stories about those whom we love. The Gospel of John is a
beautiful story about the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of
Jesus Christ. John's perspective is a little different than the other
Gospels. John is a little more artistic and poetic. For February-April
2017, we will going on a deep dive into the Gospel of John as we
explore who Jesus is in our lives today. Please consider devoting
some time to studying this Gospel during these three months so
that we can all listen for what God wants to say to us through
these beautiful stories.
Our first few weeks: February 5 - The Word Moves Into the Neighborhood (John 1:1-18) February 12 - Water to Wine (John 2:1-11) February 19 - Born Again (John 3:1-21) February 26 - Watercooler Talk (John 4:1-42) March 5 - Feeding the 5,000 (John 6:1-14) [guest preacher: Rev. Tim Schultz] In addition to Pastor Tyler preaching through the Gospel of John on Sunday mornings during February-April, Associate Pastor Gerald will be teaching through stories from the Gospel of John on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm (beginning on Wednesday, February 8).
Save the Date: Vacation Bible School (July 17-20)
