We welcome you to our worship service this morning and pray that you will be blessed in the presence of the Lord Jesus.

It is our desire to glorify God as a community of Christ followers who love God, love people, and make disciples because Jesus is the way,

the truth and the life.

If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus or have ques-tions about your faith, please feel free to speak with Pastor Cliff, Pastor Phil or one of the Elders.

If you are a visitor, we would like to have a record of your visit. Cards may be placed in the offering plate or given to an usher on your way out of the sanctuary.

East Glenville Community Church would like to extend a warm welcome to our Malagasy friends.!

following worship today and to join us for the Malagasy Service at 3:00pm.

Scripture Memory Program Rules for Holy Living - Colossians 3: 1-12

1. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

5. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. 7. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips, 9. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices, 10. and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. 12. Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Lose It For Life is not about dieting. It’s not about exer-

cising. There are no quick fixes, magic diets, or promises

of a thin body. Losing the weight and keeping it off may

have more to do with changing what you’re thinking and

feeling at any given moment than what you’re eating or

whether you’re in a regular exercise program. Lose It For Life is about

creating a lifestyle of permanent weight management that emphasizes

the whole you: your spirit, mind, body and emotions.

We will not be meeting on Monday, May 20th,

but please join us on June 3rd at 6:45pm.

Our Philly Cheese Steak Night raised $775 for the Youth Mission Team that will travel to Staten Island to assist We Care Ministries with people affected by Hurricane Sandy!
