United with our Holy Father Pope Francis, let us pray in solidarity for our brothers and sisters here and around the world who are sick. Let us pray for those who have
lost loved ones to this virus. May God console them and grant them peace.
We pray also for doctors, nurses, and caregivers, for public health officials and all civic leaders. May God grant them courage and prudence as they seek to respond to this emergency with compassion and in service to the common good. In this time
of need, I invite all the faithful to seek together the maternal intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and I share this prayer with you:
Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas. We fly to you today as your beloved children. We ask you to intercede for us with your Son, as you did at the wed-ding in Cana. Pray for us, loving Mother, and gain for our nation and world, and for all our families and loved ones, the protection of your holy angels, that we may be spared the worst of this illness. For those already afflicted, we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance. Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful, wipe away their tears and help them to trust. In this time of trial and testing, teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be patient and kind. Help us to bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to our hearts. We come to you with confidence, knowing that you truly are our compassionate mother, health of the sick and cause of our joy. Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms, help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus. Amen

Dear Parish Family,
Christ is Risen... He is Risen Indeed!
This ancient Resurrec on gree ng is exclaimed by you, me, and every Chris an believer today because God could only do the
greatest miracle known to the world! He has brought fallen humanity from death to life, darkness to light, and sin to grace! Total-
ly unexpected and unheard of that the God/man Jesus could rise from the dead, yet God fulfilled what he promised from the very
beginning of salva on history. The fulfillment of the Father’s will in Jesus “when I am li ed up, I will draw all people to myself.” To
this very day the belief in the Resurrec on is a “foolishness to Jews and a stumbling block to Gen les.”
Surprising to us, the resurrec on of Jesus seemed to be a surprise and a shock to his own disciples. Mary of Magdala’s first reac-
on in today’s gospel is logical: the body was stolen. Peter and the beloved disciple see for themselves the empty tomb, but only
one believes. We are reminded that we live by faith and we seek understanding. Easter morning gives us our North Star, the guid-
ing light by which we live our lives. Jesus’ death was not the end. He was raised in a wholly unexpected way to new life. His des -
ny is ours; his new life will be ours who seek to follow him each day. On this Easter morning and throughout the Easter season,
may we be open to the unexpected ways that the Risen Jesus may work in our lives.
I want to welcome in a special way all those people who par cipated and will be par cipa ng in our drive thru prayer services last
Sunday and today on Easter Sunday. You are welcome to this faith family and we hope the few minutes of prayer will help each
one of us grow deeper in love with Jesus!
Though we may be far apart this Easter please know that our faith family is here for you. We con nue to worship, celebrate, and
minister in new ways and means to get the Gospel of Jesus into your homes and hearts via the Internet and social media. Please
don’t forget to support our ministry here by logging onto our online giving or by sending in your Easter loving offering to the par-
ish. God con nue to reward each of you this holy season!
Be assured of my constant prayers for you and your family at the celebra on of Holy Mass and in the quiet moments before the
Eucharis c Lord in the tabernacle. Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat (Christ Conquers, Christ Reigns, Christ Com-
mands)!
United in the Risen Lord,

Querida Familia Parroquial,
¡Christus Vincit, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat ¡(Cristo conquista, Cristo
reina, Cristo manda)!
Unidos en el Señor resucitado,
Padre Marinello Saguin

The 2021 Season will mark our 20th Anniversary. In the meantime, may God watch over us until we can celebrate together, connecting our faith with real life during the Lenten Season.
