Time scheduling versus time spending

• The first of time management is recognizing the value of time and redeeming it- buying it up carefully as the priceless resource which it represents: Ephesians 5:15-17


Effective leaders

• Effective leaders do not start with their task .. They start with their time.

• They manage their time and cut back unproductive time.

• They consolidate their discretionary time into the biggest possible continuing time units.


Time Wasters: Three critical questions

1. What would happen if this were not done at all?

2. Which of the activities on you time log could be done by somebody else just as well, if not better?

3. What do I do that wastes my time without contributing to my effectiveness?


Each of us is allotted a finite number of days.

• Are we spending those days wondering aimlessly, with no goal, no purpose in sight?


God’s plan for you

• God’s plan for you has been unfolding since the beginning of earthly time. He calls you to seek out his plan for your life and act on it

• What steps can you take today to begin the work God has called you to do in your family, personal and professional life?
