Moderator’s Report for Session

November 25, 2019

Michael Jinkins

As we approach this Thanksgiving, I would like to express my gratitude for all of you,

our wonderful sessional leaders of the congregation and our gifted and dedicated staff.

It has been a joy this year to serve with you, to learn with and from you, and together to

look forward to the future of our church.

With every week that passes I grow more sure that the Pastor Nominating Committee

will have this search wrapped up in the next several months, and that our congregation

will welcome a new senior pastor sometime in the coming year. Until then, as it says in

the gospels, my face with set like flint toward our readiness for the next great chapter in

the life of Saint Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church. And for this we can all be thankful.
