50 photos that were inuenced by a wordor phrase. o begin the task I had alreadyhad a ew lms to develop rom photos Ihad taken during the summer. All o thephotos were taken by using a Kodak dispos-able camera and the Diana F+ 35mm BackLomography Camera.

Lomography is a Magazine, a Shop, and aCommunity dedicated to analogue pho-tography. It began with a ate ul encounterin the early 1990s, when a group o studentsin Vienna, Austria, stumbled upon theLomo Kompakt Automat a small, enig-matic Russian camera.

Once I had the developed photographs Ibegan tting them into the particular wordsor phrases rom the list. I had roughly 25photos that worked with the list, so I neededmore. Buying more lm I went out aroundBristol to complete the list.

Again I had them developed. A number othe photographs were put into the list butI still needed more. I returned to my homein Neath a ew weeks later and ound I hada Kodak disposable camera that some lmlef to take more shots. I then got that developed and ound that I was success ul incompleting the list o 50.

I am pleased with my nal 50 photographs.Many o them are abstract, have little mean-ing and loosely t the list. I think this iscomplementary to the Lomography Cam-eras themselves.

My aim or this project was to question howmy opinion on something can suit almostany subject. I you can think or look atsomething deep enough it can be anything.

Each o the phrases asked me to nd animage to relate or recreate the situation visually. I think many o the photographs dothis. Others struggle, yet by thinking deepenough allows the viewer to relate to bothimage and word/phrase.

I approached this task with content alreadycreated be ore it was given to me. Makinglots o the photographs unintentional.
