MYTH #1 – PHOTOGRAPHY IS A PIECE OF CAKE

Easy is not a synonym for photography. It can be a lot of things, but it isn’t easy for sure. People think that photography is all about picking a camera and clicking a button. No! It’s just a myth that photography is easy. Lots of patience and tons of practice is what you need to click photographs which are aesthetically appealing to not only to yourself, but for others also. You need practice for a long time to master the art of creating compelling images. Over a period of time, you’ll find it a lot easier to remember rules and settings of photography.

MYTH #2 – DON’T SHOOT IN BAD LIGHT

You’ll be surprised to know that in photography, there’ no such thing like bad lighting. You will always have the opportunity to capture amazing pictures as long as there is some source of light. Avoid setting limitations of shooting only during specific lighting conditions. An important skill for a photographer to acquire is to make the most of the light which is available. Mastering this art will allow you to capture photographs in all types of lighting conditions.

MYTH #3 – AVOID SHOOTING INTO THE SUN

You may have heard lots of people suggesting that capturing portraits, you should shoot with the sun at your back. This is done mainly to ensure that subjects appear evenly lit with fewer shadows. However, in many cases you can capture some of the most memorable and beautiful images by shooting into the sun.
