Kiwanis International prides itself on serv-ing the children of the world. We appreciate your help in making it possible to make a differ-ence in the Greater Sacramento area, by play-ing in our Swing “Fore” Kids golf tournament.

The Citrus Heights Kiwanis Club was chartered in 1972. It is part of Kiwanis International which has over 600,000 volunteer members in over 90 countries dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Internationally, Kiwanis has raised over $90 million dollars to virtually eliminate Iodine De-ficiency Disorder (IDD), the leading cause of preventable mental illness in the world.

Regionally, we helped build, maintain, andoperate the KiwanisFamily House, locatedadjacent to UCD Medical Center. KiwanisFamily House providestemporary housing forthe families of criticallyill children at the Medical Center. It has been open 24/7 since July of 1984. Last year we hosted 1,385 families.

Locally, we sponsor three high school Key Clubs and one K-Kids Club. Serving the communities of Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and Orangevale, we provide numerous scholarships each year. We recognize and encourage students for im-proving grades with incentives (BUG program - Bring Up Grades). We support food banks and make donations to many different charities an-nually in order to improve the lives of children.

Funds from this tournament will allow us to continue, as well as enhance, these ef-forts.

Dress Code: No blue jeans or shorts with inseams less than 6”. All shirts must have collars and be tucked in at all times. Soft spikes only are permitted on golf course. No golf shoes in the clubhouse.
