SurroundZone2Nuendo and Cubase Quick Start GuideSurroundZone2 has been designed for ease of use both from an operational point of view as well as from a set-up point of view.

The process to insert SurroundZone2 has not changed from the previous versions of Surround Zone.

Below is a step by step guide on how to create a project which uses SurroundZone2.

Step 1 – Create a track compatible with the desired output format:

If you want to use a 5.1 output from the plug-in you will need to create a 5.1 track, if you want a 7.1 track you need to create a 7.1 track and so on. One important thing to note is that if you only require a Stereo (mono) output you will always need at least a four channel track to accommodate the four SoundField A-Format or B-Format channels.

Simply select the plug-in from the drop down menu. You can select the output format from the output drop down menu. Make sure to select an output format in-line with the audio track it is inserted in. We are now all set and ready to start playing with the controls.
