Floor Space needed to put up large tent. Roger plans to get the tent and bring it out with

him. The size of the tent obviously needs to be big

enough for the tracker on a table and room for two people (i.e. Roger & Aron) to maneuver around.

Tent Dimensions roughly measured 2.7m x 1.5m.

The tent will be covered with black felt or something similar, to cut out any light entering.

Lamps of some sort will be needed to see when in the tent, which will have filters.

A light source to excite the fibres is needed, which should be focused enough, as not to excite too many fibre bundles.

Remove Aluminum plate from tracker. Shine the light from a light source (which roger will

bring) on the edge of each of the views (X, V, W), in turn (see next slide), taking note of which view is being tested, making sure that only the fibres in one (the last) station connector are illuminated.

Find with eye/camera at the other end which waveguide it comes out from and where it is on the 128 channel D0 connector and write down this information.
