Positional & Spacial Considerations

The outer Grey stripped padding indicates the Sae Zone. Other

graphical and visual elements can be saely positioned up to the

Blue line.

Blue indicates Clear Space. The blue area must be kept ree o

all other graphical and visual elements.

The minimum required Clear Space is defned by the

measurement ‘X’ (equal to the height o the uppercase letters,

known as the ‘cap-height’. The width is equal to the height.)

Magenta indicates type and element alignment and boundaries.

Image above shows the ideal logotype placement.

Notice that the Blue area creates a padded Clear Space top and

right o the logotype.

 Any other design element could be added to the photograph as

long as it didn’t cross over the Blue area; let and bottom o the

logotype.

Do not change the position o the wording.

Do not recreate the ont in another typeace.

Do not change the ormat o the logo even i you eel it

looks good.

Do not use colours, or mix colours, that are not part o the

Garage Gothic Bold is used or the Tom & Teddy lettering.

The seconday typeace uses a variety o Helvetica Neue styles

and weights which is to be used or all internal stationery and

correspondance.

 As an example the business card uses Helvetica Neue Bold 75 

or the name, Helvetica Neue Medium 65 as the title/position, and

Helvetica Neue Light 45 or the address and contact details.

Type Specfcations For All Stationery Elements

Type size or all wording set at: 8.5pt

Leading set at: 9.5pt

Tracking set at: 50
