ELEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

The final Men’s Club meeting for the 2017-2018 year,

Scholarship Night, will be held on Wednesday, June 20th,

in Seidel Hall. Several graduating high school seniors will

be awarded scholarships to help with the expense of

their future education if they have successfully completed

the application process and have demonstrated over the

years a healthy relationship with the church. An

additional scholarship will be awarded in memory of

Vincent “Butch” Russo by the Russo family and other

donors. A brief business meeting will begin at 6:00 pm.

The awards program will immediately follow.

ST. JOHN PAUL THE GREAT PRAYER GROUP Prayer Group meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday evenings

in the Nativity Rectory Basement at 7:00pm.We will be

meeting on June 19th. Everyone is most welcome to join.

PRINCE OF PEACE PARISH

NURSE/HEALTH MINISTRY Our mission is to serve God and our community by

promoting optimal health and wellness with attention to

body mind and spirit.

We provide two Lunch & Learn programs per year, blood

pressure screenings, first aid, and health information at

our Parish picnic. We monitor our AEDS and provide

training updates, and coordinate our Emergency

Response Team.

We are open to new ideas and adventures. We meet

monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 6:00pm in Seidel Hall in

March-June and September - December.

health and wellness and wish to join our ministry please

“SPREAD THE LIGHT”

FOR OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED

The Community Services Council of Woodbury is holding

its 8th annual “Spread the Light” fundraising appeal

through the end of June to invite donors to support our

shared mission of emergency assistance for our

neighbors in need by dedicating gifts of $10 or more in

memory or honor of the special people in our lives. Our

volunteers will decorate Woodbury town greens on the

Fourth of July with beautiful star lanterns, each

representing a memorial or honorary dedication for a

donation made during the “Spread the Light” appeal to

support CSCW programs including the Woodbury Food

Bank, energy and crisis assistance for low-income

Woodbury residents. Please stop by our “Spread the

Light” table at Masses this weekend, where our faithful

CSCW volunteers and I will be providing information and

donation envelopes to participate in this celebration of
