1. INTRODUCTION EUROPEAN WADO KAI CUP 2021

The European Wado Kai Cup 2021 will be held on the 6th November 2021 in Halle/Saale,

Germany.

2.2. Age

IMPORTANT NOTE

The age limit of competitors for the corresponding category will be the competition day of the

event.

2.3. Prizes

In each individual category, the first prize will be a gold medal.

The second prize will be a silver medal.

The third prizes will be bronze medals.

2.4. Refereeing

The competition will be held with 5 referees for Kumite and 5 for Kata.

4. WKF APPROVED PROTECTIONS, KARATEGIS & TATAMIS

The European Wado Kai Cup complies with the highest level of presentation. In order to

guarantee the correct delivery of the event and to ensure the suitable quality of the tournament,

exclusively the following brands are WKF Approved for use in the European Wado Kai Cup. SPORT PROTECTIONS “WKF Approved”

TATAMIS “WKF Approved”

KARATEGIS WITH THE BRAND EMBROIDERED ON THE SHOULDERS

The Karategis with the embroidered brand of the manufacturer on the shoulders will be accepted

for use in the European Wado Kai Cup by those competitors who wish to do so, both for Kata and

Kumite in red or blue colour, depending if the competitor is AKA or AO.

The authorized brands to use these karategi models are:

5. EVENT SCHEDULE

DUE TO THE CURRENT EMERGENCY HEALTH SITUATION THIS EVENT WILL BE

HELD UNDER THE WKF COVID-19 PROTOCOL AND THE LAWS OF HALLE.

In order to respect and properly follow the WKF Covid-19 protocol, the schedules below will be

strictly followed.

6. ONLINE REGISTRATION & OFFICIAL ACCREDITATION

All registrations for the European Wado Kai Cup event must be processed ONLINE. Onsite

registrations will NOT be accepted. The registration will be validated once completed the online

payment through the payment platform.

6.1. Online Registration Process

The registration starts at 10th September 2021 12hr GMT+0 and closes at 30th October 2021

19hr GMT+0

National Federations are responsible for the quality of the entered registration data. Once the

online registration is closed, any changes will have to notified to both, the software team and

the European Wado Kai Team, at latest five days before the first day of competition.

6.2. Technical Support for Online Registration

7. ENTRY FEE

The entry fees are € 20 per individual category.

The entry fees are € 30 per Kata team category.

The entry fees are € 50 per Kumite team category.

Additional costs hygiene guide € 10 per entry.

8. PAYMENT

All payments must be processed through the ONLINE PAYMENT PLATFORM. Onsite

payments will NOT be accepted.

9. OFFICIAL ACCREDITATION

The official accreditation will take place on Friday 05.11.2021 from 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. at the

Brandberge Sporthalle. For competitors in kumite categories Weigh-In must be done on the same

day. If changes are required during the official registration session, because of incorrect or missing

registration data, a fee of € 20 is charged for each change. At registration, accreditation cards will

be issued with the participants main data, a photograph and information about registered

categories. The accreditation card must be worn at all times during the event.

Only members of national federations recognized by European Wado Kai Federation are admitted

to participate, as per European Wado Kai Cup Organizing Rules. All participants must submit an

official document (passport or other valid ID card) for identification and validation at the

accreditation session. The accreditation of any competitor must be done by the athlete or the

athlete’s, coach, in person bringing the athlete passport or other valid ID at the accreditation

session. The competitor who has not collected, either personally or through his/her coach the

accreditation during the official registration, will not be included in the draw. The Weigh-In will be

carried out immediately after receiving the accreditation. Those athletes who will not attend the

Weigh-In will not be included in the draw.

13. OFFICIAL HOTELS

13.1. HQ Hotel

TRYP BY WYNDHAM HALLE

The 3-star hotel TRYP by Wyndham Halle is located close to

the center in Neustadt, near a large shopping center. In just

10 minutes you can take the tram from the hotel directly to

the historic old town of Halle an der Saale. The nearest

tram stop is right in front of the hotel’s door.

The room price includes free internet access via WiFi, use of the fitness room and free use of

public transport upon presentation of the room ID.

The breakfast buffet is available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The hotel's own underground car

park is available with 100 parking spaces for € 12.50 per day. The validation and activation take

place directly at the hotel reception. Masks are required in the entire hotel. Check-In: from 2

All prices are exclusive for the European Wado Kai Cup. All tournament participants must stay in

one of the official hotels. The same applies to judges, officials, coaches, family, relatives, friends

or spectators.

Due to the regulations of Covid-19, the exclusive prices and the limited capacities per hotel, a

After the booking request, you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and invoice.

The hotel booking can only be made until October 5th, 2021.

Cancellation options are as follows:

- if you cancel by October 5th, 2021, 95% of the costs will be refunded,

- if you cancel after October 5th, 2021, 10% of the costs will be refunded / 90% of the costs must

be paid.

All requests about hotel bookings after October 5th, 2021 must be processed separately. The

exclusive low prices can then no longer be promised.

14. TRANSPORTATION

Transports between the airport and the hotel as well as the hotel and the sports hall are possible.

Prices can only be calculated once we know the route and the number of people.

15. SAYONARA PARTY / CLUBBING

A Sayonara party is being planned.

There will be a fixed price per person to attend the party. The price includes food, drinks and

entry, so there are no additional costs on site. Everyone only has to take care of the transport

themselves.

We will also make an offer for all over 16 year old who want to visit a club afterwards. All under

18 years old need a person over 18 who will take care of them that evening. We want to enable a

ticket that guarantees entry and drinks in a club. Again, these are exclusive prizes for the

European Wado Kai Cup.

In order to plan the clubbing, we need feedback from everyone over 16 years by September

20th, 2021 via the email address [email protected].

The booking of the ticket for the Sayonara Party and the ticket for Clubbing will be necessary by

October 20, 2021.
