the intersection.
WHAT’S BEING DONE?
Dakota County will add, replace, and improve three traffic signal systems.
County Road 46 and Buck Hill Road/Kenyon Avenue in Lakeville – includes new sidewalk ramps.
County Road 30 (Diffley Road) and Nicols Road in Eagan – includes a right turn lane.
County Road 30 (Diffley Road) and County Road 31 (Pilot Knob) in Eagan.
WHEN WILL WORK TAKE PLACE?
County Road 46 and Buck Hill Road/Kenyon
Avenue in Lakeville – Work begins the week of April 17 and will continue through the end of May.
County Road 30 (Diffley Road) and Nicols Road in Eagan – Work is scheduled to start in mid-May and take about 7 weeks to complete.
County Road 30 (Diffley Road) and County Road 31 (Pilot Knob) in Eagan – Work is scheduled to start in mid-June and take about 6 weeks to complete.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Work will include installing the new traffic signal system, replacing curb and gutter, installing pedestrian ramps and some private utility work. All roadways will remain open throughout construction. Some lane closures will be required and delays are expected. For the safety of the workers and other motorists, please be patient.
