Cavanagh, Pilot Chemical Co.; Stanley P. Clark, Texas A&M University; and Richard Schoen- feld, Grindsted Products Inc., each won a $50 U.S. savings bond. 9 Hospitality Room drew good attendance throughout meeting. Jack Snow of Calbiochem-Behring had the low gross score with an 85; Pedro Malabrigo of French Oil Mill Machinery Co. had the low net handi- cap (Callaway System) with a 75. Each received a golf jacket. Bob Wiggins of Humko-Sheffield also received a jacket for the longest drive on Hole No. 14, 275 yards. Louis Richardson of Giltrol won a putter for being closest to the pin on Hole No. 8. All participants received golf balls donated by U.S. Filter while tee prizes were donated by Nettco Agitator, Sullivan Systems, CPC International, Nu-Chek Prep, Goulds Pumps, Chemi- neer Agitator, Viking Pump Co., and Brooks Instruments. The annual meeting for decades included a golf tournament, but the practice had disappearect in recent years. 9 Main ballroom was location of gala banquet.
