“Music Notes” From

Lynn Kahler, Director of Music

“In Christ Alone” is a popular modern Christian song written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townsend, both songwriters of Christian hymns and contem-porary worship music in the United Kingdom. The song, with a strong Irish melody, is the first hymn they penned together. Com-posed in 2001, the music was by Getty and the lyrics by Town-send. The theme of the song is the life, death and resurrection of Christ, and that he is God whom even death cannot hold.

A CHRISTMAS INVITATION

Lynn Kahler, St. Patrick’s Director of music, would like to invite any individual that feels called to join our Christmas Choir. Our Choir rehearsals for our Christmas celebration. will be held in the Church from 6:30-8:00 p.m. It would bring great joy, to Lynn and the St. Patrick’s community, to have a full choir lifting their voices in song as we cel-ebrate the birth of Our Lord. What better way is there to share your gift and talents, than to lift your voice in prayer to our newborn king? Is Jesus calling you?
