Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I grew up as Diane Lurensky with 3 older sisters and a younger brother on Lynn Shore Drive across from the beach. Got my BS in Nutrition at Cornell U in 1980. Married David Alpern of Cleveland in 1988, and moved from Boston to Northampton in western MA in 1991. David is an internist in private practice. We love this community! I am a Registered Dietitian working at The Food Bank of Western MA. Our older daughter just graduated from Ithaca College, and younger daughter is in her second year at the Culinary Institute of America training to be a chef. Life is good! Psyched to see everyone.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Moving to Sparks, NV two years ago to be closer to our son. We love living out west but I am still a Mass girl at heart. My hubby is retired and l am working PT. We do lots of traveling to state and national parks and our goal it to visit all of the MLB parks. One of my favorite trips was white water rafting the Colorado River from Lake Powell to Lake Mead through the Grand Canyon with Bob and Alex. And finally, I am a breast cancer survivor (6 years and counting!).

My first sports car, 72 Camaro, custom orange paint w/blk. roof, spoiler, hood locks, custom blk. & wht. snaggletooth interior, chrome mag wheels w/locks, size H rear tires, heavy duty air shocks, air conditioning and an 8-track player. Guns & Roses concert. Saw a performance of by authentic Aborigine Pygmies and Mud-men. But the most poignant was my son coming completely out of psychosis.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: My two beautiful children are my best achievement in life. My son James King is now 29 and living in San Diego. My daughter Gabrielle R. King died at the young age of 19 accidentally at a college party. She was an Emmanuelle College student who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I graduated from Suffolk University with a BA in criminology. I am still working at FedEx Express for 32 years now and I love it. I am fighting a blood cancer now but I am a lucky one, they caught it early. So I will be at the 45th reunion! I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After graduating in 1976, I took a post-graduate course in Dental Assisting at LVTI and worked in the same Dental Office for 38 years. Left in 2015 and am now at Lynn Shore Rest Home. I played softball for many years with a travel team and visited many states, and played in three National tournaments. I have had a full life watching my two daughters playing sports, softball, basketball, and soccer, traveling again all over and meeting some amazing people! Although I married a little later in life at 32, my husband Robert is my rock and best friend. Feeling very lucky and truly blessed!!!!
