As detailed i the resultsbelow, CommScopes o -the-shel SYSTIMAX LazrSPEED 300 (OM3) ad LazrSPEED 550(OM4) fber optic cables, part o the SYSTIMAX IstaPATCH 360 pre-termiated cabligsolutio, ar exceeded the distace expectatios or fber chaels i Higher Speed Etheret(HSE) data ceter eviromets.     Curretly, the IEEE 802.3ba stadard specifes supportable distaces o 100 meters oOM3 fber ad 150 meters o OM4 fber or both 40 ad 100 Gbp/s data rates. Whilethe majority o vedors supported chaels up to these specifcatios or both data rates,

    CommScopes results ar exceeded the stadards. Usig a mixed OM3 ad OM4 chaelcosistig o 200 meters o LazrSPEED 300 plus 300 meters o LazrSPEED 550 multimodefber cables with MPO coectors, CommScope supported distaces that were 3.3 times aslog as the OM4 specifcatios ad 5 times as log as the OM3 specifcatios or 40 Gbp/sEtheret. Additioally, CommScope exceeded the 100 Gbp/s Etheret distace specifcatioor 100GBASE-SR10 by a actor o 2.7 or OM3 ad 1.8 or OM4. (Table 1).

    All the combiatios o CommScope LazrSPEED 550 ad 300 fber ad trasceivers testedwere observed to successully pass the BER test with zero errors. It is importat to ote thatwhile CommScopes 500-meter results or 40 Gbp/s ad 270-meter results or 100 Gbp/sare well above the idustry stadard, either test oud the ull perormace limits o thechaels. These distaces were determied based o the maximum legths o chaels thatcould be assembled rom the cablig at Plugest, which provides a early sapshot o therobustess o CommScopes techologies ad builds cofdece i the HSE ecosystem.

    As data ceter applicatios cotiue to icreasigly require aster Etheret speeds, distacebetwee etwork irastructure compoets ad the quality o data trasmissio become challegigcocers.
