Troubleshooting

Problem: The red light on the front of the sensor does not briefly

f lash w hen the battery is inserted.

Solution: It is possible that the battery is not seated correctly in

the battery compartment. Firmly push dow n on the

battery w hen placing it in the compartment. The battery

must not move around in the compartment. It may be

necessary to bend the contacts in the compartment

slightly outw ard.

Problem: The outdoor temperature does not appear on the

display

Solution: Remove the batteries from the main unit and the sensor.

Wait for a few minutes. Insert the batteries into the main

unit. Wait for 5-10 minutes. Insert the battery into the

sensor.

Problem: The radio controlled time does not appear.

Solution: Leave your temperature station positioned in a

w indow s facing tow ards Frankfurt, Germany for at

least 24 hours.

Problem: The temperature show n in the display differs from the

actual temperature.

Solution: A difference of about 1C is w ell w ithin the normal

operating limits.

If possible, use a third thermometer to compare the

accuracy of the temperature.

Problem: The clock jumps to the w rong time w hen it receives the

radio signal.

Solution: Please use the "zone" feature to set the correct time

zone. Press and hold "clock". Then press "clock" tw ice

briefly. Use set/reset to set the time zone to -1.

Complete the setting by pressing Clock 7 times.
