4 Days Guilin Three Nights (For FIT. Program: HKP9991912NN-4D-schdl01)

Day 1: Arrival at Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill, Piled Silk Hill, Guilin City Tour

The guests come by train G408 HK(12:05) Guilin W(15:25) or G320 HK(14:53) Guilin W(18:07)， then stay at

5 Star Lijiang Waterfall Hotel.

Day 2: Lijiang River Cruise, Yulong Bridge/Village/River, Shangri-La Park

Lijiang River Cruise: It is a ferry boat tour from Guilin to Yangshuo, about 4 hours on the luxurious 3-star

boat.

The distance is about 60km in the most beautiful section of the Lijiang River which is not only one of the

most beautiful rivers around Guilin, it rivals the best that the whole of China has to offer, maintaining

varying degrees of attractiveness, throughout the entire year.

Yulong Bridge was built in Ming Dynasty, about 600years before. It is a stone bridge with a length of 36

meters, a width of 4.2 meters and a height of 9 meters.

The east of the bridge is one of the micro soft’s wall paper. The west of the bridge is Pyramid hill. The most

beautiful part of the Yulong river is there!

Shangri-La Park: It is composed of lotus pond, swallow lake, primitive tribe, etc.

First，the guests take an electric boat on the beautiful swallow lake, go through swallow bridge and 150

meters natural swallow cave, see the beautiful landscape and countryside houses on the side of the lake.

Then，walk on the land and enjoy the nice Dong minority song, folk dance and other performances. In the

park, ancient winemaking, papermaking, printing and other cultures of ethnic minorities in Guangxi are

also there.

Day 3 Longji Rice Terraces

The Longji Rice Terraces (Dragon's Backbone)：(8：30~18:30)

They are located in Longsheng County, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Guilin, Guangxi, China.

The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between

600 to 800 meters above sea level. A coiling terrace line that starts from the mountain foot up to the

mountain top divides the mountain into layers of water in spring, layers of green rice shoots in summer,

layers of rice in fall, and layers of frost in winter. The terraced fields were mostly built about 650 years ago.

Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Terraced Rice Fields received their name because the rice terraces resemble a

dragon's scales, while the summit of the mountain range looks like the backbone of the dragon.

Long Hair Show: Huangluo Yao Village is located on the Longji Scenic Area. It is one of the thirteen Yao

ethnic villages in Longji. The ethnic group that living here are all the red Yao ethnic people. A custom of red

Yao ethnic is that all females should keep a long hair. Among the 60 families, the longest hair can reach to

1.9 meters, while others also have more than 1-meter-long hair. So Huangluo Yao Village is reputed as the

first long hair village in the world. We will watch a show playing by those ladies in the village.

Day 4 Departure

Day 2, Optional show- Impression of Sister Liu Sanjie in Yangshuo: 19:45~20:45

It is directed by Mr Zhang Yimou, the most famous Chinese director. Impression Liu Sanjie is designed to be the

core part of the Splendid Lijiang River, Folk Song Fair of Sanjie Liu Scenic Area. Back against 12 peculiar karst

hills on the Li River with bright and colorful lighting, this gorgeous on-water show assembles the picturesque

scenery of Li River, the great achievements of the ethnic culture of the Zhuang, Miao, Dong and Yao minorities,

and the inspiration of 67 Chinese artists. All of the actors and actresses (exceeding 600) are local people, who

grew up by the Li River and perfectly show the emotion between the local nature and themselves in the

performance. Thanks to the endowed natural stage, Impression of Sister Liu Sanjie is hailed as "a cooperative

masterpiece by human being and the God".

After the show, the guests need to come back Guilin by themselves. It is about RMB35/p from the theater to Guilin

Train Station by bus, and about RMB300 by taxi. The driving time is about 1.5hours.

Elephant Trunk Hill: It is the symbol of the city Guilin. It got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking

water. Everyone coming Guilin would like to take a picture with it.

Piled Silk Hill: The height of the top is about 80meters from bottom of the hill. On the top, it is the best view to the

Guilin downtown with river, lake, hills…… So beautiful the city you will see.
