2. This has reference to the TWG meeting held on April 23, 2012 at the Ante-Conference Room, Camp Crame, Quezon City. One of the Topics discussed was thestandard format/matrix on Trafficking in Persons to be used in monthly accomplishmentreports.

Definition of Terms Usedin Accomplishing Standard Formats of Reports

on Trafficking in Persons

PNP Initiated operation - this is any TIP operation initiated by the PNP for the rescue ofvictims and arrest of suspected traffickers based on PNP's own information gathered.

Referred Case - this is a case on trafficking in persons that was referred by anyperson other than the complainant, his/her relatives.

Walk-in Complaints - are the complaints on trafficking in persons brought to the Womenand Children Protection Desks/Police Stations by the victim herself or by his/herparents, relatives, NGOs and others on behalf of the victim.

Reports - are the detailed report on trafficking in persons that happened within therequired period.

Updates - refers to any development or progress (up to present time) that transpired onTIP cases/suspects or victims of the cases of a given period.
