Overview of Interests•Newcomers to groups how do existing

members feel about “newbies”?

•Cooperation in groups when are people selfish, and when are they selfless

•Impression formation How do we decide what we think of others, based on the information we get?

•Social interactions Why do we like interacting with others, or watching others interact?

•Any other social psychology project ideas welcome, but please try and:

•Have a clear idea (not just “something about social psychology”)

•Look at the existing literature (even one paper is enough to start!)

•Think about methodology and how you might measure what you’re interested in
