Dear Shito Ryu Karate friends,
for the members of the Slovak Shito Ryu Karate Association it is an honor to welcome you, the members of the European Shito Ryu karate family, in Slovakia for the third time in a row. We wish that these Championships were predominated by a spirit of friendship and fair sporting atmosphere. The first two Championships assessed as a good start, their execution pointed to the fact that our efforts have perspective future. We are expecting with great encouragement the 3rd European Shito Ryu Karate Federation Championships which are to be held in June, 2015 in Nové Zámky, Slovakia.
We would like to welcome in Nové Zámky all the participants, delegates, relatives and Shito Ryu Karate friends, who will come to our town and we hope all of them will enjoy our town and the 3rd European Shito Ryu Karate Championships.
Enjoy these days of karate sport in our facilities which we will place at your disposal and which we hope will fulfill your expectations.

The town of Nové Zámky was mentioned for the first time in 1545 as a defense stronghold against Turkish raids. The original rectangular layout was with four auricle bastions. Several years later a new castle was built on the opposite bank of the river Nitra – the present name of the town is derived from the castle. The castle known also as Castrum Novum was built in the regular hexagonal star-like layout. It had six multifloor bastions from which only the names have been preserved – Žerotin´s, Fridrich´s, Caesar’s, Czech, Ernest´s, and Forgach´s. In the dramatic struggle between the Habsburgs and Turks the castle got into hand of Turks in 1663 who cruelly ruled there until 1685, when the territory of the town was conquered back by the army of Carl of Lotharingie. In 1691 Esztergom Archbishop Gyorgy Szécsényi issued the document granting town´s and other important privileges to Nove Zámky. Only a few monuments and buildings of this history have been preserved, though, as most of them were destroyed during the 2nd World War between 1944 and 1945 due to three bomb-attacks. After the 2nd World War the town was newly rebuilt. But in spite of it in the district museum Roman inscription plates and other documents about the first settlements in the town can be found.

Insurance: It is recommended that all participants must affect their own medical insurance and personal trip insurance. The organizers are taking no liability for these concepts. The competitors start on their own risk, the Chief of the delegation have to sign the enclosed terms of responsibility sheet and return it by March 30th 2015.
Conditions for participation: The Championships are open for regular ESHRKF member Federations, Groups & Individuals who should confirm their participation till the 30th March, 2015. Non-member, Federations, Groups and Individuals from European countries should contact the organizer for getting information about conditions for possible participation at the 3rd ESHRKF Championships. To take part at the Championships may only non-member Individuals or Groups, Federations from countries which have a non-registered Federation or Group in ESHRKF. System: ESHRKF Rules for Kata and Kumite competition will be applied. Full repechage for two third places will be done.
Referees: Referees with National, Style & International qualification are welcome. Participating
Referees should attend pre Championship briefing and hand over their Karate Passport with confirmation of an allotted license. After briefing Referees will seat and pass theoretical examination from ESHRKF competition rules. At the briefing Referee commission will appoint Match area Controller, Appeal jury, deploy Referees and Judges to Tatami. Regular ESHRKF Federations, Groups have obligation to present minimum four (4) and maximum eight (8) Referees for the Championship, Federations or Groups, who will not present Referees will be penalized by fine of 70€.

The exact number of delegated competitors for each individual category will be specified after the deadline for sending of biding confirmation of Federation or Group participation on Championships which is 30th March 2015. As a general rules ESHRKF members Federation & Group may register for each individual discipline, age & weight category maximum three (3) competitors and two teams.
In case when Championships will be in time shortage, Kumite bout can be cut shorter about 30 sec. This appendix can be apply only in Kumite age categories from 10 years to 17 years.

TERMS OF RESPOSIBILITY
To be filled, signed and send back before 30th March, 2015 I, ____________________________________________ the undersigned , as a Chief of delegation of my Federation, Group, duly enrolled to participate in the 3rd European Shito Ryu Karate Federation Championships, which will be held in Nové Zámky, Slovakia, from the 20th to 21st of June, 2015, with full knowledge of the Statutes, the Rules and the Norms of EUROPEAN SHITO RYU KARATE FEDERATION, pledge myself to faithfully accomplish the regulations of this entity mentioned above. And I take any and all administrative, civil and criminal responsibilities of whatever happens to our athletes, coaches and other members of our delegations participating in this Championship, before, during and after the competition, such as physical injuries, personal expenses, or monetary debts and casual material damages to the hotels, the venue, means of transportation etc. Furthermore, I exempt from any legal, civil or criminal responsibilities the organizer of the Championships, the ESHRKF, its directors, as well as any person, company, or entity related to the event ( sponsors, public, and private entities). I authorize the organizers of the event to use images, photos and names of our competitors and other members of our delegation ( since it is considered necessary) for the sport activities and publications of karate, related to the event without any monetary compensation.
