of Germany Philip Augustus of France and Richard

the Lionheart of England…

Crusades were wars fought by the Christians of

western Europe to gain control of the Holy places

around Jerusalem…

The third crusade began In 1987, when 3 european

leaders combined their forces to retake Jerusalem.

was an attempt by European leaders to take

the Holy Land from saladin…
