3rd Class Guideline of work for Week 3 March 30th – April 3rd

Dear Parents, I hope you are well during this uncertain time. Please note that this work is only a guideline

and there is no pressure to complete it all. These are incredibly difficult times and you know best what

works for you, your child and your home. Hopefully we will be back at school soon and back to our usual

routines.

Extra ideas:

Write an Easter acrostic poem. (I will attach a template for this but children

can write it into a copy themselves if they like)

Write an Easter themed story. (Template attached if needed)

Gaeilge: Léigh sa Bhaile pg. 99 – 102

Bun go Barr Súil Siar pg. 104 & 105 (These two pages can be photocopied

and children can write into them if preferred).

Maths: Work It Out Week 23

Brainteasers Test 45 & 46

Mathemagic pg. 131 – 134 Lines & Angels (some of this chapter will be

more practical/discussion based as opposed to writing into their copies)

The Body Coach on YouTube will be doing a PE lesson for half an hour every

day. (Live at 9am but available at any time)

Make an Easter Wreath. (Template attached)

Make an Easter card. (Ideas attached)

History/Geography: We were learning about ancient Egypt in History and Egypt in

Geography do children could research and write 5/10 facts the topic.

Sphe: Continue to spend a few minutes a day meditating and maybe some time doing

mindfulness colouring. (Sheets attached)
