Mission Statement:
Building the awareness of hunger in the State of New Mexico by supporting underlying
solutions that inspire self-sufficiency and community empowerment and support for a
hunger-free tomorrow.
The End Hunger in New Mexico Summit
This year’s Summit will offer a wide variety of topics dealing with hunger issues in the State of New Mexico.
Included will be experts on the subject of hunger; workshops will include participation in creating new
initiatives to end hunger. The afternoon session will be a working group of collaboration and discussion on
economic wellbeing, education, family and community and health issues related to poverty and hunger in
our state.

Registration Information
Everyone attending the Summit, including partners and presenters, must register.
Everyone attending the Summit must complete a separate registration form.
If registering for a group or couple, please complete a form for each person.
Group registrations will be processed for groups of 10 or more persons.
Separate registration forms must be completed for each member of a group. Registration materials for groups
of 10 will be packaged as a group and available for pickup at the group pre-registration area. Registration
materials for individuals in smaller groups will be available for pickup at the general pre-registration area, by
individual name.
You can pre-register by submitting a conference registration form on or before Friday, September 23rd,
2016 OR you can register on site.
On-site Early Registration will be on Monday, September 26th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
On-site Late Registration will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
Everyone must check in at the Summit Registration Desk upon arrival.
Please check in and pick up a name tag, program and bag from the Summit Registration Desk before joining
Summit activities. The Summit Registration Desk is located in the foyer of the Conference Center, separate
from the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown Hotel Registration Desk near the lobby. Pre-registering for the Sum-
mit will expedite the check-in process.

Registration Procedures
Registration fee is $35. Seniors over 60 years $25, and late registration $45. We will also have a food drive at the
summit and suggest that participants donate a minimum of half a grocery bag of non-perishable grocery items. View our

A food truck will be parked in front of the hotel entrance. Help us fill up the truck—MORE THAN ONCE! All non-
perishable food will be picked up and distributed by Desert Harvest, benefitting approximately 17 organizations.

causes hunger. This will include working in
groups to collaborate and discuss one of the
following contributing factors related to poverty
and hunger in our state: economic wellbeing,
education, family and community, and health

so as to not interrupt the presenter/workshop/attendees. If you are on-call, we ask that

Take I-25 south to Albuquerque. Continue on I-25 to the I-25/I-40 interchange. Bear right toward I-40 East.
